Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Provide accounting, administrative, and technical support to the Municipal Outsourcing Team.
  • Perform data entry for accounts payable warrants.
  • Maintain, verify, and input financial records such as payroll and cash receipts.
  • Perform other job functions and projects as requested to support the Firm.
  • Must be able to travel to client locations in western Massachusetts. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in business, accounting or related field with 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a MUST.
  • Motivated, service driven, strong work ethic, good organizational skills, and the ability and desire to take on responsibility.
  • Good work ethic, service driven, strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft products, advanced Excel and Word, Vadar

     

Minimum Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of accounting work experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

     

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $30-35 per hour. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on education, experience and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
