Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Directs and coordinates daily activities of 3PL warehouse to ensure that the quality and
accuracy of shipping and receiving and production meet and exceed the expectations of
our customer.
• Responds positively and quickly to customer concerns, corrects potential problems before
they affect customer.
• Communicates daily with customer to discuss service needs and implements processes and
procedures to achieve service requirements.
• Ensures that appropriate policies and procedures and SOP's are being adhered to by all
Team Members and managers.
• Confers in the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, goals,
and objectives, with Company and customer officials, as necessary.
• Develops and executes business plans, budgets and goals with Corporate and Customer
representatives.
• Reviews progress as compared to business plan, budget and goals with Corporate,
Customers and staff on a regular basis.
• Monitors costs and quality controls to maintain and enhance profitability.
• Recommends capital expenditures for acquisition of equipment to increase efficiency and
service of facility.
• Manages the day-to-day activities of the facility, overseeing that work is accomplished by
the managers and supervisors, and that it is consistent with corporate policies and
objectives.
• Establishes ongoing programs to ensure continuous improvement.
• Develops and implements the necessary processes and procedures with the Operations
team and monitor effectiveness.
• Develops and monitors productivity standards.
• Conducts regular staff meetings.
• Oversees inventory control.
• Oversees quality control and damage reduction.
• Provides leadership in coaching, mentoring, training, personnel selection, and professional
development. Trains managers and other personnel strategically in all areas that will help
them achieve customer goals and objectives.
• Oversees that the facility staff develop and implement professional developmental plans
for the Team Members, their supervisors and managers.
• Manages, mentors and motivates supervisory personnel to handle Team Member concerns,
complaints and developmental needs.
• Conducts performance evaluations.
• Performs corrective and progressive disciplinary follow-up as required.
• Negotiates resolutions pertaining to conflicts in the workplace.
• Achieves a clean and orderly operation with an emphasis on productivity appearance.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience: Five (5) years previous work experience in high-paced warehouse
environment. Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Green Belt
• Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Office to
include Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to mast internal computer systems
• Certificates & Licenses: Forklift Certification preferred.
