Position Title: Project Coordinator – Austin, TX (Central Texas Region)
Department: Operations
Reports To: Regional Operations Manager
Location: Austin, TX area
Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will provide project support and administrative oversight for PMI’s Central Texas operations, based out of Austin, TX. This position is responsible for assisting with planning, scheduling, documentation, and cost tracking to support project delivery. The Project Coordinator will act as a liaison between field operations, project management, and internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and efficient project execution.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Managers and site supervision with scheduling, planning, and execution tracking.
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, daily reports, meeting minutes, safety and quality records.
- Assist in preparation of project billings, cost reports, forecasts, and payroll reconciliations.
- Track manpower, equipment, and material usage.
- Coordinate communication between field teams, clients, subcontractors, and PMI internal departments.
- Support the development of two-week and six-week look-ahead schedules and related project planning tools.
- Ensure compliance with contract, safety, and quality requirements.
Work Conditions
- Based in Austin, TX, with required travel to regional project sites.
- Role includes both office and field responsibilities, with time spent on active commercial and industrial jobsites.
- Must be able to wear required PPE and work in outdoor environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred); equivalent industry experience acceptable.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, project controls, or administrative support within industrial construction.
- Familiarity with scaffolding, coatings, insulation, fireproofing, and/or abatement is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
