A Duracell Mandarin-English Translator will support cross-functional communication between Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking teams in a high-paced manufacturing and engineering environment. This role provides accurate translations during meetings, training, and equipment installations. Ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide live interpretation during technical meetings, equipment commissioning, troubleshooting sessions, and training events.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production leaders to ensure clarity and accuracy of translated materials.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Ideal candidates will have strong technical vocabulary in mechanical, electrical, and process engineering context.
- Ideal candidates will have familiarity with manufacturing environments, including robotics, automation, and quality systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work on multiple shifts.
- Option for housing assistance.
- Short-term assignment.
