The Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Accountant to join our team. This role will be central to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations while supporting a wide range of projects across the organization. You will partner closely with our leadership team, manage day-to-day accounting functions, and collaborate with both internal team members and external accounting partners.

Responsibilities
- Financial Operations & Systems
- Maintain and improve our accounting and finance systems (ERP, bill pay, payroll, etc.)
- Ensure accurate data flow between internal systems and outsourced accounting providers
- Maintain and improve detailed cash flow analysis and forecasting
- Vendor & Cash Management
- Manage bill pay processes, including vendor setup, invoice approvals, and timely payments
- Support collections from customers and maintain visibility into AR
- Reporting & Investor Support
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial actuals for internal management and external investors
- Support budget vs. actuals analysis and variance commentary
- Compensation & Payroll
- Calculate and validate sales commissions
- Oversee payroll processing
- HR Operations & Support
- Maintain employee data and workflows in Rippling (HRIS/Payroll platform)
- Provide light support for headcount reporting, onboarding, and policy upkeep
- Team & Ad Hoc Support
- Serve as a resource for internal team members on finance-related processes
- Provide hands-on support for special projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience (software/SaaS experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and operational finance processes
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience coordinating with outsourced accountants or external vendors
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Process-oriented mindset with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”

Compensation for this role is $70,000 annually
