Overview
The Assembly Scribe is responsible for accurately recording the proceedings of ASUS Assembly meetings, ensuring transparency and accountability. They prepare and distribute minutes in a timely manner, maintaining a clear and accessible record of discussions and decisions. The Scribe works closely with the Governance Officer and Assembly Speaker to stay informed on agendas and ensure documentation aligns with ASUS policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and organizational ability to support the smooth operation of Assembly meetings.

Time Commitment and Remuneration
Term: May 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026
Hours: 4–6 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities
Take accurate minutes during ASUS Assembly meetings.
Distribute minutes to Assembly members and upload to relevant platforms.
Ensure official records reflect Assembly discussions, motions, and votes.
Collaborate with the Governance Officer and Assembly Speaker on agendas and meeting documentation.
Maintain records in compliance with ASUS policies.
Assist with meeting setup and preparation of documentation.
