The job
Overall, you will be responsible for defining and deploying the Health Economy strategy in the best interests of the subsidiary and reconciling local requirements with the Group's international policies for the Business Units of the company.
Major Areas of accountability
- Anticipate actions to optimize and preserve reimbursement levels, considering the Health Economy strategy of the Group and the subsidiary.
- Develop and follow the calendar of activities in Health Economics in compliance with legal and/or Business deadlines.
- Guarantee the application of “health economics” regulations (reimbursement, pricing, hospital economics) within the subsidiary, in collaboration with the involved departments.
- Aligned with HQs, set the development of value dossiers of Coloplast products and services for payers, including the health economics and clinical evidence data that may be required to optimize and/or preserve Spanish reimbursement levels.
- Utilize health economics tools such as budget impact models and cost-effectiveness data to support access initiatives, analyse data to inform decision-making and explore innovative, data-driven access solutions.
- Responsible for local RWE and HEOR evidence to support and optimize market access development of evidence-based value propositions & value communication tools.
- Ensure close dialogue and cooperation with internal (Marketing, sales, business excellence…and HQs teams) and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree within healthcare/ business adm. and/or medical technology. Master is an asset.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position within the field of medical devices/healthcare. Experience with health economic tools and arguments, such budget impact models.
- Solid understanding of the healthcare environment.
- Successful and significant experience in the regulatory and economic field in the healthcare industry.
- Experienced in Health Economic tools.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills combined with strong analytical and conceptual capabilities.
- Fluency in oral and written English and Spanish. Valuable Portuguese.
