Job Description: Human Resources Manager - Product Company Nashik
Epiroc India is looking for a HR Manager to join our team in the Product Company (Manufacturing Entity) located in Nashik, India. In this role you will work close to the General Manager and be a valued member of the management team. In addition, you will work closely to the Vice President People and Leadership India, ensuring an alignment between local, global and Epiroc India initiatives. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in creating and managing an HR strategy, ensuring its successful execution and adjusting accordingly to create competitive advantage. Preferably you have 5-10 years of experience from similar roles in a manufacturing entity. Experience of Greenfield investments and projects is considered a plus.
A key purpose of the role is to help strengthen leadership to make sure we have leaders who actively work with People Management to create short term as well as lasting results. We think you can contribute to our organization in building high performing teams, with each person understanding their own role and expectations. That you have experience in how to maximize business performance and results by ensuring we have the right number of people we need and with the competences needed, and that gaps are closed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We also expect you to ensure we have a strong pipeline of diverse internal talent performing in their current roles and capable and motivated to develop into new roles in the company.

Mission:
Your overall mission as HR Manager is to support the General Manager and the management team to lead and develop the company in line with the Epiroc strategy focusing on the key strategic areas of Innovation, Growth, Operational Excellence and strong Sustainability and Company Culture. You are together with the General Manager responsible for future proof PC Nashik and build up the organization to handle a smart and green product portfolio for the global market in line with Epiroc India and divisional strategies. A specific focus for the next coming years is to recruit, onboard and develop people to our second production plant in PC Nashik.
Your specific mission as HR Manager is to ensure that we have the best organization and HR processes in our industry. That we attract the best talents, build diversity in our teams and work proactively with the focus on strategic execution. As a key leader within Epiroc India, you will contribute to the Product Company strategy and further define and execute the people management strategy, with customer centricity and business mindset as a core.

You will provide direct leadership and guidance to our human resource professionals and make sure that our organization in the Product Company has an efficient structure. You will also work with the management team and other HR Managers in Epiroc India to walk the talk when it comes to our culture and leadership expectations.

Job Overview
The HR function is a strategic function within the Product Company with the aim to support our managers and organization to reach results by having the right people in the right place at the right time.
This is done by being a business savvy leader for the HR function and at the same time taking an active part in strategic recruitments, talent growth thru identifying and proposing development plans and trainings in soft- and tech skills among others. To deliver the HR manager has a team of HR Professionals that support activities that shall be managed in a proactive way.
The HR organization also ensures that the Product Company complies with labour laws and regulations. Other areas of expertise are industrial relations, collective bargaining, union management, and grievance handling. The HR organization educates managers and takes an active role in conflict management and facilitates reviews together with responsible managers when needed. The HR manager is also making sure that the organization works in line with global and country specific HR processes.

- Support the development and implementation of the overall Epiroc India strategy.

Ensure that leaders are leading digital acceleration and establish a reskilling strategy for new digital competencies.
Explore possibilities to implement robotization/digitization in HR Processes to assist organization.
Operational Excellence
Constantly review and create the most efficient organizational structures.
Contribute to establishing cross-functional teams (inch. Physical space) to ensure an efficient decision making and communication structure in the Product Company organization.
Support Group and Epiroc India initiatives that increases quality, speed and skills development while also reduces administration and enable business focus for HR professionals.
Coordinate that My Voice (Employee Survey) action plans are effectively implemented and followed up in the Product Company
Support in internal audits with an HR focus.
Other Responsibility:
- Provide proactive, structured and business minded support to the PC Nashik Management team and work as a sounding board for the General Manager
- Set and drive compensation and benefit strategy including ensuring salary reviews are aligned with performance and market needs.
- Active participation and engagement in Epiroc India People and Leadership Council as Product Company representative
- Support management in identifying and developing high-potentials.
- Report according to group metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis the HR performance indicators (group HR reports)
- Act as a first point of contact for HR related issues for bargainable and non - bargainable employees; Lead conflict resolution approach in cases of disciplinary action.
Qualifications
Degree in any stream
Post-Graduation in HR Management
Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in HR Manager position, preferably from an industrial and global company
Location: Nashik, India.
Specific skills:
Leadership skills that create psychological safety and trust in the organization.
Business savvy with a good understanding of financial as well as manufacturing processes.
Industrial Relations (Union relations, long-term settlement negotiations, grievance handling etc.)
Proactive mindset
Knowledge in Mahrati is beneficial
