We’re transforming the way Australians buy cars — and that starts with top-quality vehicles and skilled technicians. As part of our growing operations team, you’ll be ensuring every car we deliver is safe, roadworthy, and ready for the road.
Responsibilities:
We’re looking for experienced Automotive Mechanics to join our Villawood team. You'll inspect, repair, and prep vehicles to meet CARS24’s high standards before delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting mechanical, electrical, and safety inspections
- Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on brakes, suspension, engines, and more
- Preparing vehicles for roadworthiness and compliance
- Performing quality control checks before handover
- Documenting all work completed for compliance and transparency
- Collaborating with operations and delivery teams to keep things moving smoothly
Requirements
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (essential)
- Solid mechanical experience in a dealership or high-volume workshop (2-3 years minimum)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Great teamwork and communication skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Willingness to undergo a police and background check
- Bonus: RWC certification, or auto-electrical experience
