At Preply, tutors are core to our mission of unlocking human potential through learning. As part of the Supply Operations team, you'll lead the creation of high-impact, tutor-facing content that builds trust, improves sentiment, and aligns messaging across product, brand, and support touchpoints. You’ll help shape Preply’s voice across the Tutor Community and external tutor-facing touchpoints, own product comms from concept to delivery, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure every message tutors see is clear, consistent, and human.
You’ll work closely with our Product, Brand, Customer Care, and Data teams to plan and ship comms tied to launches, updates, and ongoing education, especially in sensitive or high-scrutiny areas. This role will play a critical role in shaping Preply’s relationship with tutors.
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan and deliver high-impact tutor content across launches and day-to-day comms
- Own messaging for new features, policy changes, and ongoing tutor education, across channels like the Community, CRM, and Customer Care
- Turn complex or sensitive topics into clear, consistent, and human messaging
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape narratives that build tutor trust and drive adoption
- Create content that drives tutor engagement and connection
- Create Community content that encourages two-way dialogue, fosters trust, and strengthens tutors’ sense of connection to Preply
- Spotlight tutor stories, elevate helpful voices, and share behind-the-scenes perspectives to make the platform feel more human
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure messaging supports broader engagement programs
- Help shape and reinforce our tutor-facing voice
- Shape the tone, cadence, and content strategy across all tutor-facing channels, in alignment with Brand guidelines and tone of voice principles
- Collaborate with the Brand team to evolve a clear, consistent tutor voice that reflects Preply’s values and supports external positioning
- Write, schedule, and deliver content across all tutor-facing channels that guides sentiment, reinforces norms, and highlights tutor voices
- Maintain tutor tone of voice documentation, and support cross-functional adoption across comms, product, and support
- Align messaging across all surfaces
- Ensure consistency in messaging across internal and external tutor touchpoints
- Support content governance with quality control, guidelines, and escalation processes
- Track impact and iterate
- Partner with the Tutor Community team to monitor tutor sentiment and feedback, using those insights to identify opportunities to clarify or strengthen Preply’s messaging
What you need to succeed:
- 3+ years of proven experience in content, product comms, or editorial roles, ideally with customer-facing content in a tech or platform context
- Ability to simplify complexity, especially around sensitive or controversial topics
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills across formats and tones
- Comfortable working across stakeholders, channels, and delivery formats
- Strategic thinker with a bias for clarity, structure, and execution
- A growth mindset of always testing, learning, and scaling with a drive to get things done
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with team members and partners
- Analytical thinking and the ability to turn insights into action
- Previous (supply-side) marketplace experience is ideal
- Familiarity with Community platforms, engagement, or moderation is a plus
