Come Innovate Motion with Us
As a Test & Validation Engineer, you will be part of a newly formed Gear & Differential Systems team driving forward exciting and strategically important projects in the field of e-drive technologies. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of mobility from the ground up.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing validation activities for differential and gearbox systems in e-drive applications. Working closely with design, simulation, and manufacturing teams, you will ensure that our components meet functional, durability, and NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) requirements. Your work will play a critical role in supporting industrialization and ensuring customer success.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Define and execute test plans for design validation (DV) and production validation (PV)
Develop test concepts and fixture designs for gear, shaft, and housing assemblies
Coordinate prototype builds and validation samples with internal and external partners
Program, monitor, and analyze endurance, strength, and NVH tests on test benches
Analyze test data and create structured reports with clear conclusions and recommendations
Support root cause analysis and issue resolution (in collaboration with design and quality)
Contribute to the creation of validation documentation (DVP&R, test specs, test reports)
Interface with suppliers, customers, and international teams on testing and release topics
Our requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field
Ideally more than 2 years of experience in years of experience in testing or validation of mechanical components or systems
Prior exposure to automotive environments preferred
Familiarity with drivetrain test benches, endurance and fatigue testing methods
Hands-on experience with test setup, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
Experience in failure analysis, material characterization, NVH testing, gear performance evaluation, and durability testing is highly desirable
Fluency in English is mandatory. German language proficiency is desirable, while fluency in Chinese would be a significant asset
Analytical mindset with strong documentation and reporting skills
Structured and proactive working approach, comfortable in dynamic environments
What we offer:
Be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of e-drive technologies through thorough testing and validation of gear and differential systems. You’ll work on strategically important projects from concept to industrialization, gaining hands-on experience in endurance, NVH, and durability testing. Collaborate with global teams and expand your expertise in failure analysis, material characterization, and advanced validation methods—all within a supportive and innovation-driven environment.
