Overview ... :Polisher / Blast Booth Operator Required in Livingston Job Type: Full-timeSalary:£14.60 per hour Hours: 38 hours per week Schedule: 4 Day Week - Monday to Thursday 06:00-16:00 We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Polisher/Dresser /Blast Booth Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast booth equipment to clean, finish, and prepare various materials and surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.The Opportunity ... :Duties to include but not limited to: - Operate blast booth equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of materials.- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance.- Inspect and maintain blast booth machinery and tools.- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.- Maintain a clean and organized work area.- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.- Being involved in and driving any and all improvements to the blast booth process.- Open to training on other skills such as polishing, passivating, dressing, cleaning welds and all other general practices- Dressing welds to a high-quality standard.- Cleaning welds using the passivating process. Required experience:- Excellent attention to detail and quality control- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Must be able to spot defects on work; close visual inspection required.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.- Forklift license not essential but preferred.Why work at JBT ... :JBT Marel is an international market leading company in the global food processing industry.
