We're not your average kitchen. We serve preschoolers in a joyful, learning-rich environment where every bite counts-and mealtime is part of the learning. Our cooks are part of the classroom experience, supporting family-style dining and helping kids build healthy habits from the start.

What You'll Do:

As the heart of the kitchen, you'll be:

• Cooking and serving delicious, nutritious meals for children ages three to five
• Creating child-friendly menus that meet USDA and Head Start guidelines
• Keeping a clean, cheerful, and well-stocked kitchen
• Teaching healthy eating by example-and making food fun!
• Collaborating with teachers and staff who care deeply about kids
• Making a lasting impact on the health, growth, and school readiness of our youngest learners

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• A food handler's permit (or willingness to get one--we'll cover the cost!)
• Experience preparing meals for groups
• Basic kitchen inventory and record-keeping skills
• Ability to complete a physical exam
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Willingness to get CPR/First Aid certified (we provide training)
• A warm heart and a team spirit-this isn't just a kitchen, it's a community!
