A Work Instruction Specialist plays a pivotal role at Satellite Suites by ensuring that operational processes are clearly documented, communicated, and continually improved. This position bridges the gap between subject matter experts and the end users of procedures, providing the clarity and consistency needed for safe, efficient, and high-quality work. The specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating work instructions and procedures across various departments within the manufacturing of the Satellite Suites units.Key Responsibilities:
- Development of Work Instructions:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts such as engineers, quality, safety, and management to gather process knowledge and document detailed work instructions.
- Analyze existing workflows and processes, identifying areas where documentation can enhance safety, quality, or efficiency.
- Write step-by-step instructions in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Create supporting visual materials, such as diagrams, photographs, charts, and flowcharts, to improve understanding and compliance.
- Standardize instructions across the organization to reduce variability and increase reliability.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews, providing documentation and evidence of best practices.
- Maintain records of revisions, approvals, and distribution to meet audit Manage the distribution, archiving, and retrieval of work instructions and related documentation.
