Every product we make at Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry (WAF) has a journey to take and it begins in our Shipping Department. From small domestic orders to large international shipments, our work connects Manitowoc to the world. That’s why we’re searching for a Shipping Room Clerk who thrives on details, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in making sure customers across the globe receive exactly what they need, right on time.

In this role, you won’t just be moving boxes — you’ll be moving our reputation forward. You’ll be the link between WAF and our customers, carriers, and forwarders, making sure every shipment leaves with accuracy, care, and confidence. Our Shipping Room Clerks work Monday-Fridays from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and start out at $24.95 an hour.

What You’ll Do:

• Communicate directly with customers about domestic and international shipping requirements.

• Partner with carriers and forwarders to expedite and track shipments.

• Coordinate daily shipments to customers worldwide.

• Perform regular computer input for documents, correspondence, and record-keeping.

What It Takes to Succeed:

• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external partners.

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous forklift experience.
