Supply Chain Analyst
OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a full-time Supply Chain Analyst to work in our Moorestown, NJ office. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing inventory positioning to reduce inventory investment and improve cash flow for this global technology leader in high-speed mailroom automation, document imaging, and warehouse automation.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing inventory positioning to reduce inventory investment and improve cash flow (buy items). Develop, implement and champion a slow moving, excess and obsolete inventory reduction process to maximize cash investment and reduce loss.
- Assist in coordination of lifecycle management and loss prevention. Review PCBA BOMs to identify lifecycle risk components.
- Ownership in design and roll-out of various inventory related initiatives to “right size” inventories maximizing both customer service levels and cash flow metrics
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual inventory and spend - plans / reports / metrics.
- Review inventory planning master data parameters, safety stock levels, lead times, asl, sourcing rules, vendor requirements and order multiples to further optimize inventory levels
- Commodity trend analysis for determination on best time to invest/procure.
- Drive supply side initiatives to reduce or contain risk, and / or create commercial and revenue generating opportunities
- Work collaboratively with buyers to enhance oversight of tactical sourcing spend to support the delivery of commercial and operational objectives
- Analyze procurement processes including supplier performance, pricing trends, and optimizing the procurement process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain.
- Experience in cost analysis and interpreting data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Working experience with ERP systems. Familiarity with Oracle a plus.
- Requires excellent problem solving, communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task projects and assess priorities in a complex and demanding environment.
- Strong technical competency a plus to ensure that supply meets demand and timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
- Strong computer skills: Intermediate level or better in MS Office applications.
