General Function:
The IT Inventory & Student Device Support position is responsible for assisting in the tracking of all District technology equipment as well as the preparation, distribution, and collection of student devices.

Education/Training/Experience:
Minimum: High School diploma with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on inventory management and device prep
Preferred: Associates degree in Information Technology or related field with 2 or more years of experience in IT, relevant certifications

Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:

Ability to interact professionally and effectively support diverse groups, including but not limited to other team members, parents/guardians, and students
Ability to learn new technology and keep informed about the latest technological advances
Demonstrates empathy, patience and effective listening skills when working with end users and other team members
Demonstrates effective communications skills (oral and written)
Demonstrates effective organizational and time management skills
Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize tasks
Demonstrates knowledge of IT Inventory management systems
Demonstrates knowledge of IT ticketing systems
Demonstrates knowledge of multiple operating systems including Windows and Chrome OS
Demonstrates knowledge of Google and Microsoft suites.
Demonstrates knowledge of single sign on platforms such as ClassLink

Essential Job Functions:
Performs all functions in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety and environmental regulations, facility and computer security policies and procedures. Functions are subject to change from time to time to meet the needs of the organization. Current essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for supporting the tracking of tech equipment inventory
Responsible for preparing new and replacement devices for students
Responsible for the collection of devices from students leaving the District
Supports the Tech Drive Thru
Responsible for providing one-to-one support when issuing new or replacement devices to students
Works effectively as part of a team as well as individually
A strong focus on customer service and quality assurance
Other duties as assigned

Salary Range and Benefits:
$32,000-$42,000+ Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to full and part-time employees that work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Resources Used in Performing Job Include (but are not limited to):
Standard network and office equipment including computers, phones, copiers, etc. Automobile to travel to district sites and/or meetings.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
The work is primarily performed in an office/warehouse. It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation. At times bending, squatting, reaching and the ability to lift, carry, climb ladders and push up to 40 pounds. Occasional trips by automobile to district sites and departments is required.

Environmental Conditions:
Most work performed in an office setting with some work performed at other district sites.

Demonstrates reliability as evidenced by attendance records and punctuality.
Properly notifies supervisor and/or designee of absences or tardiness.
Begins and completes work within the allotted time.
Consistently appears in attire appropriate to the work environment.
Demonstrates skill in the use of equipment including its capabilities, limitations and appropriate/ special application.
Protects the district’s resources through appropriate and careful use of supplies and equipment.
Utilizes appropriate body mechanics to aid in the prevention of muscle strain/injury.
