Position Summary:
The Technical Accounting Manager position is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and producing financial reports in accordance with GAAP and internal control procedures. This role ensures timely month-end close and provides leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.

Audit Financial Statements:
- Lead the preparation and review audited financial statements in coordination with external advisors to ensure accuracy and full GAAP compliance.
- Coordinate audit deliverables across internal departments, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit requirements.
Audit Memos and Documentation:
- Partner with Riveron to review, update, and maintain technical accounting memos to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Respond to audit queries and provide detailed to support the external audit process.
Stock Compensation Analysis:
- Oversee and prepare the stock compensation entries, ensuring compliance with ASC 718.
Purchase Accounting Support:
- Lead purchase accounting activities, including consolidating acquired companies and integrating financial statements in accordance with ASC 805 Business Combination.
- Analyze opening balance sheet balances of acquired company for compliance with parent company accounting policies; propose adjusting entries and review them internally and with Riveron.
- Develop and analyze the acquired company’s actual working capital compared to the purchase agreement.
- Prepare detailed calculations and work papers, ensuring proper allocation of purchase price adjustments and accurate reflection of acquisition costs in the financial statements.
Corporate Intercompany Financing Transactions:
- Oversee reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of intercompany financing transactions, including loans and deferred tax.
Month-End Close Procedures/Analysis:
- Assist in month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of financial statements.
- Review complex reconciliations and calculations, including those related to commissions, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, and ASC 842 Lease Accounting.
- Manage the consolidation of financial statements across plants and international entities.
- Review Internal Financial Statements, including a financial package for private equity sponsor, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Technical Accounting Expertise:
- Act as a subject matter expert on technical accounting matters.
- Assist in the interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls.
- Support ERP Implementation, including system integration, GL data migration, and testing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Action-oriented, assertive, and diplomatic to get things done on time. This position requires multi-tasking and an individual who enjoys working with a sense of urgency and is capable of creative problem-solving.
- Ability to participate as a team member with consensus decision-making.
- Must hold a CPA license, demonstrating expertise in accounting policies and regulatory compliance.
- 5-7 years of public accounting experience with top global or national firms.
