Description

Job Summary: Load and unload materials incoming and outgoing from the packaging department. Bring materials from different locations within the plant and packaging area to stock and set up lines for packaging. 

Essential Functions of the Job (listed in order of importance) 

1. Move material in place as KanBan dictates.
2. Maintain KanBan system by reporting inventory.
3. Load and unload materials incoming and outgoing from Sierra Bullets warehouse.  
4. Drive various lifts safely including stand up lifts.

Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job: 

1. Able to keep accurate records for production and inventory purposes.
2. Exhibit safe work practice and good housekeeping skills.
3. Computer knowledge for reporting production records.
4. Close attention to detail work.
5. Good organization and communication skills.

Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job: 

1. High school diploma/ GED or skilled trades

Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job: 

1. Able to lift 30lbs. Pushing 20lbs and Pulling 40lbs.
2. Able to stand, twist, bend at waist for long periods of time.
3. Able to work at a fast pace when needed.

Experience Required to Perform the Duties of the Job: 

1. Mechanical Background.
2. Manufacturing of some sort.
3. Previous forklift experience a plus.

Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required: 

1. Able to pass fork truck certification.
2. Valid driver’s license.
