Job Summary;

The IT Manager is responsible for the overall review, implementation, and support of all technical equipment, including but not limited to Point-of-Sale Systems, A/V Systems, Camera/Access Control Systems, End User Systems for the Aquarium and all other facilities in the Myrtle Beach market. This role will report to the General Manager of the market and the Senior Manager of Field IT Operations.

Job Duties;

  • Identify technical needs of each property and plan for execution
  • Ability to create and maintain budgets
  • Create staff schedules to support the operations of the attractions
  • Manage, Train, and develop onsite subordinate IT team
  • Perform quality control checks of work completed by subordinates
  • Comprise weekly status reports for the department to be shared with management team
  • Maintain proper documentation of all aspects of the department including but not limited to, department statuses, standard operation procedures, and inventory, etc.
  • Develop scopes of work, oversee and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors
  • Facilitate escalation of technical issues to proper stakeholders as required
  • Ensure that all technical issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintain a proactive and positive relationship with all departments
  • Maintain all technical aspects of each attraction and ensure they are “Show Ready”
  • Planning, executing, and managing IT projects, including upgrades, installations, and migrations, while ensuring minimal disruptions to operations
  • Prioritize regularly scheduled service activities along with urgent unscheduled support requests with a high level of responsiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and IT industry standards
  • Supervise, manage, and/or respond to help desk request utilizing a ticket system
  • Configure and deploy end user workstations and POS systems including operation systems and other software as required
  • Support of applications including but not limited to Microsoft OS 10/11, Microsoft Office 2019 and 365, Adobe etc.
  • Ability to complete minor hardware repairs to workstations, POS systems, and printers
  • Troubleshoot POS systems, end user systems, A/V systems and camera systems
  • Ability to create moves, adds, and changes in Active Directory and DHCP
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic networking issues
  • Ability to work with remote support and provide remote support
  • Ability to cover floor shifts as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications;

  • 3-5 years working in IT support role required
  • 3-5 years working in IT Management preferred
  • 1-5 years working in Entertainment and/or Hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required
  • Provide On-Call support as required day/night/weekend
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving IT issues
  • Understand of configuration changes and their up/down stream impacts
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and ability to follow and work under general direction
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent time management skills
