Job Description
Our ERP Specialist isn’t just a support role, this is a mission critical position that impacts every corner of our business. We’re looking for someone with exceptional talent in assessing needs cross-departmentally, defining requirements, managing complex projects, and confidently prioritizing what matters most. Excellent internal customer service with clear, persuasive communication, both written and verbal, is a must. Above all, we value a relentless “get it done” mindset and a drive to deliver results. Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include.
- Identify faults, diagnose and resolve issues, and recommend appropriate paths, ensuring minimal system downtime
- Ensure seamless integration between the ERP system and other enterprise applications
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend ERP-driven improvements
- Develop automated workflows within the ERP system to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Work with various departments to understand their ERP-related needs
- Test new features, and oversee upgrade and customization deployments
- Provide training to other ERP-focused IT staff and end-users
- Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities to a team of ERP specialists, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment
- Research and resolve inquiries/tickets in a professional, timely and accurate manner
- Generate reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision making
- Interface with 3rd party ERP vendors for technical support and fixes
- Develop standard operating procedures for common technical issues
- Monitor and lead ERP system updates
- Write, edit and proofread ERP documentation, user manuals and training manuals
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge, skills, and experience:
- At least 5 years in a direct ERP support role; at least 3 years in Acumatica support
- Acumatica experience should include generic inquiries, report builder, import and export scenarios and APIs to various other enterprise systems
- Provide excellent customer service and support for internal customers and 3rd party vendors
- Experience with SPS Commerce, BigCommerce, ShipHawk, NetStock, Acumatica Payments, and other add-on modules is a plus
- Willing and eager to learn new solutions to both existing and new challenges
- Experience creating support documentation
- Ability to lead projects with mixed resources from vendors and internal staff
- Exceptional organization and coordination skill sets
This position requires manual dexterity for typing, sitting at a desk and looking at a computer screen for long periods of time. In addition, portions of the position may include shadowing of other departments that may require physical activity including lifting 25-35 pounds and standing for long periods of time.
You’ll be the go-to expert for Acumatica, driving innovation and shaping how our systems support every department. In this role, you won’t just maintain processes, you’ll actively design and implement solutions that make our business smarter, faster, and stronger. We need an ERP Specialist that has a positive attitude, and the words “can't” and “impossible” are not a part of your vocabulary.
Availability
You must be available to work between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday – Friday with the occasional evening or Saturday for projects that must be done outside of normal business hours.
