Drew University is seeking for a part-time Assistant Men's Track and Field Coach for the Athletics Department. The assistant coach will be responsible for assisting the head coach in all phases of the program including but not limited to practice and meet preparation, team management, recruiting, fundraising, community service, and any additional duties as assigned by the head coach and/or athletic director. This position will require the candidate to communicate within the University community as well those outside that community. Evening and weekends work is a most, as job duties demand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required with previous collegiate playing and/or coaching experience strongly preferred.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and should have a working knowledge of various computer software programs needed to perform job duties.
- Assists in carrying out the following duties: Supervise all practices, Identify player skill development.
- Ability to follow work schedule as outlined by Head Coach.
- Assists in developing and maintaining the skill, discipline and integrity of the team during game and practices.
