As the Product Manager within the Youth & Family Banking team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

 

We provide industry-leading family banking products designed to help kids and parents develop strong saving and spending habits from an early age. As children’s financial needs evolve, Chase offers tailored products for each life stage, from kids’ savings accounts to Chase First Banking, High School Checking, and eventually adult accounts. We are seeking a Vice President to lead initiatives that simplify the transition (“graduation”) between these products, ensuring a seamless customer experience across all channels. This leader will drive significant improvements in the graduation process and increase the number of kids moving into accounts that best fit their current needs.

 

 

Job responsibilities 

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers 
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap 
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition 
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability 
  • Deeply understand parent and kid money needs and habits – with particular attention to life moments that drive the need for new products and features, and identify opportunities to help kids get into their next product
  • Design and deliver net-new end-to-end graduation experiences (in partnership with the Agile Product Organization & Design)
  • Continuously improve graduation customer experiences across all channels (e.g., digital, branches) to achieve high graduation conversion rates, strong customer experience, and low complaints / attrition rates 
  • Develop graduation marketing plans, influencing acquisitions & engagement investment and reviewing campaigns/tactics (in partnership with Marketing)
  • Develop field execution, seasonal graduation campaigns & communications plans to empower branch-based bankers (in partnership with National Sales)
  • Lead customer-first and influence across functions, including Product Development, Marketing, Field/National Sales, Ops/Customer Support, Risk, Compliance 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area 
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics 
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management 
  • Strong Product ownership, strategy, or consulting experience within financial services, with a focus on digital retail banking, and/or educational or childhood development product experience
  • Strong business acumen and an analytical mind that can operationalize the strategy effectively
  • Manage End-to-end problem solving (defining problems, structuring and building quantitative or qualitative analysis
  • Outstanding communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Proven Track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional levels of success, supporting strong collaboration skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization 
  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree, or equivalent work experiences
