Description
As a full-time Land Negotiator at Oxy, you will play a critical role in supporting our land operations by negotiating and managing land agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to strategic land development initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to drive value across Oxy’s assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft land-related agreements including leases, easements, and surface use agreements.
- Conduct title research and due diligence to support acquisitions and divestitures.
- Collaborate with legal, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Represent Oxy in meetings with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Support strategic planning and development of land assets in domestic and international regions.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Energy Commerce, or a Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited Law School
- Graduation date between December 2026 - May 2028
- Must maintain minimum cumulative 2.85 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Desire to pursue a career as a Land Professional in Oil and Gas Industry
