What You’ll Do
Perform basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems with the guidance of experienced leaders.
Assist with inspections and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot forklifts and material handling equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Support facility upkeep by working on physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Safely use power tools, welding equipment, and lifts as needed.
Take on other hands-on tasks that will help you strengthen your mechanical skills.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of mechanical experience required.
Forklift/material handling equipment maintenance highly preferred.
Some trade school courses or knowledge in building, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (a plus).
Willingness to learn and follow step-by-step instructions.
Comfort using hand and power tools.
Basic computer skills.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate well with others.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or more depending on location).
Comfortable working in a range of temperatures:
Cold storage: as low as -20°F / -25°C (gear provided).
Dry storage: up to 100°F / 37°C.
Flexible schedule — may include weekends and different shifts.
Some locations may involve higher noise levels or working at heights.
