Program Administrator, ACSC

Join the Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre (ACSC) as Program Administrator. 
-    Fixed term, part time (0.5 FTE) contract to 30 June 2026
-    40 hours per fortnight, with flexibility and WFH opportunities 
-    Reporting to Manager, ACSC
 
Renumeration as per Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025. HS Grade 2 Year 1 (HS2) $33,384.00 per annum (40 hours per fortnight) to HS Grade 2 Year 5 (HS21) $36,905.96 per annum (40 hours per fortnight) dependent on candidate experience. To be discussed with Hiring Manager. 
 
About the role
As the Program Administrator, ACSC you will provide comprehensive administrative, event and program support to the ACSC team.
You will:
•    Provide ACSC program office coordination, including responding to and triaging phone, email web-based enquiries; photocopying, printing, ordering supplies and resources
•    Circulate communications and invitations on behalf of ACSC
•    Coordinate booking of events, venues, catering and provide support at events
•    Liaise with speakers and attendees and monitor registrations, conduct technical checks for webinars etc
 
About you
Your expertise in administration, coordination and organisation skills will contribute to the successful delivery of the ACSC program.

•    Experience in health care, Government or not-for-profit sector
•    Experience in event coordination
•    A high level of communication and interpersonal skills

Position Summary

Join the Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre (ACSC) as Program Administrator. ACSC deliver on a wide range of local and state-wide initiatives including projects, education, events, resources and model of care reform. The ACSC team is multidisciplinary and includes administration, project and research staff, students, volunteers and management. 

Your impact will include:
• Providing comprehensive administrative, event and program support to the ACSC team
• Providing administrative support to the ACSC Director, ACSC Manager and ACSC Operations and Projects Lead
• Supporting survivorship projects within the ACSC program which have statewide and national reach

This position requires an administrator to utilise coordination and organisation skills to contribute to the successful delivery of the ACSC program. You will work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly improve patient experiences and outcomes.

Skills

Essential Requirements

Education and professional background
• At least 3 years administration experience, ideally supporting a team 

Technical Skills and Knowledge
• Experience in health care, Government or not for profit sector 
• Experience in event coordination (online and in person)
• Proficiency in information technology, including online platforms, Microsoft Office suite, Mailchimp, intranet and the ability to learn new systems quickly

Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• High level communication and interpersonal skills

• High level organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to work

• Complete data entry activities and provide data as requested from systems
