About the role
Join our team as an Administration Officer for Time & Attendance team at Team Global Express for a 12-month fixed term contract with a possibility to extend.
This role is responsible for the timely and accurate day to day processing, exception reporting and auditing of Time and Attendance data. It will ensure the effective delivery of Time and Attendance weekly process to pay.
Reporting to the Team Leader you will work closely with the team providing high level support to team members and stakeholders daily along with Payroll, Human Resources and Operations.
What you'll do
Weekly payroll close audits & process to pay.
Daily employee timecard analysis ensuring correct pay rule application & interpretation aligns with employee relevant industrial agreements.
Daily reviewing & updating employee schedules where required working with the business approvers.
New employee setup, updating approved amendment to weekly conditions & terminations within the Time & Attendance systems.
Ensure maintenance of accurate & up to date employee data, checklists and procedures associated with these tasks.
Investigation & resolution of pay queries raised by employees through business approvers including assessment of potential adjustments required & referral to team leader for approval to adjust in a future pay period.
Actioning emails received from stakeholders from shared mailbox.
Data entry of approved leave forms.
What you'll bring
Experience with Payroll Administration / Time and Attendance or Finance Administration background with knowledge of Australian legislation is highly regarded. As a self-starter you have a passion for analysing & interpreting data, resolving issues as they arise and manage relationships with our stakeholders.
Your relentless focus on accurate results ensuring our employees are paid correct entitlements with agreed SLA’s will be critical to your success in this role.
1+ years Payroll Administration, Time & Attendance or Finance Administration experience.
Kronos Workforce Central /UKG Pro experience of equivalent Time & Attendance system will be highly regarded.
Available to commit to a 12-month contract.
Experience working with multiple Awards and Enterprise Agreements is highly regarded.
Ability to communicate to Stakeholders, Project and Development teams.
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
Collecting, calculating and entering data accurately for Time & Attendance system.
Understanding of scheduling
Data analysis & reporting skills.
