Key Responsibilities
- • Develop ceramic formulations (in collaboration with Sr. Ceramic Scientists), and their processing from batching through electrical testing.
- Ceramic batching, milling, calcining, sintering, and electrical testing.
- Characterization of newly developed ceramic powders (XRD, XRF, SEM, Dilatometer).
- Scale newly developed ceramics for testing in advanced multilayer capacitors.
- Support MLCC fabrication utilizing tape casting processes
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Materials science, chemistry, or related academic study with focus in ceramic formulation and processing.
- Hands on experience with handling of ceramic powders.
- Hands on experience with ceramic processing such as, batching, milling, and calcination.
- Preferred direct experience with ceramic characterization methods noted above
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong technical presentation skills
- Strong communication, team/collaborative skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Ceramic or related field.
