We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Dealership Vehicle Inventory Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in managing vehicle inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting dealership operations.


Job Summary:


The Automotive Dealership Vehicle Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating vehicle inventory records, processing paperwork, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless inventory management process. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and maintain vehicle inventory records in dealership management systems.
  • Process new and used vehicle invoices, registrations, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure all vehicle titles, stickers, and registration documents are correctly filed and up to date.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and work with sales and accounting teams to resolve any issues.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle inventory, ensuring all units are properly documented.
  • Assist with inventory audits to verify accuracy in records.
  • Coordinate with the sales and service departments regarding vehicle status and availability.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal inventory regulations.
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Inventory Clerk or in a related administrative role preferred.
  • Knowledge of dealership management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and uphold dealership standards.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
