Job Title: Extended Term Substitutes: Special Education Teacher
Reports To: Building Principal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed
Effective date: 12/8/2025
Salary Range: $150.00 - $190.00 per diem depending on certification level and length of assignment.

Position Summary: The above extended term substitute position is available for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

Teacher of the Handicapped required OR
Elementary certificate and Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate required
Experience working with Readers/Writers workshop preferred
Experience working with Reveal Math & Everyday Math preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: Per diem pay
