Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Liaison to join our growing team. This role is essential to driving growth across our Home Care (HC) and Home Health (HH) service lines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new referrals and nurturing relationships with referral sources including Assisted Living Facilities, Independent Living Communities, IDD organizations, Case Managers, and other community-based partners.
You will serve as the key point of contact between Purpose Care and the community, ensuring clients are transitioned into care services professionally and in compliance with state and payor guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed monthly referral and Start of Care (SOC) targets for assigned territory.
- Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with referral sources including ALFs, ILFs, IDD organizations, hospitals, and community-based agencies.
- Identify client needs, verify benefits, and coordinate the complete referral process.
- Proactively promote Purpose Home Health’s services to increase brand visibility and client acquisition.
- Prepare and submit detailed weekly reports outlining outreach efforts, opportunities, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA, and state regulations.
- Represent the agency in a professional and compassionate manner in all external engagements.
- Participate in both short- and long-term strategic planning to support company growth goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in home health, healthcare marketing, case management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Private Pay, Medicaid Waivers (CIH, A&D, TBI) is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop referral sources and maintain productive partnerships.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
