As an Analyst on the Flexible Living Solutions team, you will help shape the future of how people live and thrive in our communities. This role supports programs and initiatives that provide flexible, dynamic alternatives to the traditional 12-month lease. As part of the broader Revenue Strategy organization, you will also contribute to established streams of ancillary income—such as laundry services—while helping to identify and grow new sources of value.

Please Note: This role requires on-site presence at our downtown Chicago corporate office location, from Monday through Thursday. Employees have the option to work remotely on Fridays.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support common area rental initiatives. Track and optimize listing performance. Identify, build, and maintain rental space listings posted on third party rental platforms. Provide on-site team support and guidance. Produce and present program reporting and updates.
- Support resident hosting initiatives. Draft and deploy internal and resident program communications. Track and report program metrics, revenue, and expense. Respond to internal and resident inquiries. Audit program activities for financial accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate and support short-term rental (STR) units. Support day-to-day operations by meeting with third-party managers, housekeeping providers, on-site staff, and internal stakeholders. Ensure smooth, consistent execution and deliver reporting on program performance.
- Develop and maintain databases and trackers of vendor and property data, open issues, program changes, project implementations, etc.
- Perform data collection and analysis on program results to help make decisions, address problems and issues, and identify opportunities for initiative improvement.
- Create engaging presentations and related communications to highlight program results to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and day-to-day program functions ensuring desired flexible living initiative outcomes and goals are met.
- Serve as the go-to liaison to triage and resolve large-scale or complex requests, questions, issues, etc.
- Suggest process improvements that result in better visibility and more effective management of resources and/or reduced costs and directly implement those recommendations.
- Support special projects and ad hoc requests, as needed.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of professional experience, with an emphasis in business, operations, or real estate or previous professional experience in property management or other corporate roles preferred.
- Interest and knowledge of real estate, hospitality, and/or travel industries.
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, intuitiveness, conceptual thought processes, and exemplary organizational skills to support simultaneous project management.
- Analytical skills are necessary, with proficiency in Excel and Google Suite, and project management applications.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly master additional skills relevant to the role. Comfortable utilizing and learning new technologies and software programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and translate numerical/technical data into clear written, verbal, and presentation communications.
- Must be able and willing to work in the Chicago corporate office 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) and attend in-person company and industry events.
- Available for potential project or conference related travel (less than 5% a year).
Salary: $68,900 - $84,000 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual bonus of 10.5% is provided.
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
