Summary - Job Responsibilities – Activities:
- Perform conceptual training on pressurized air, air volume as related to Sponge-Jet abrasive blasting equipment.
- Train on the operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Robots, Feed Units, Recyclers, Integrated Systems, Blast Nozzles and other accessory equipment.
- Train on the basic concepts of proper surface preparation, including cleaning, stripping, profiling, surface cleanliness, and decontamination.
- Understand and train on how to achieve the basic standards surrounding abrasive blasting and surface cleanliness using Sponge Media products.
- Train operators and support personnel on proper safety during abrasive blasting process.
- Train on project and equipment staging.
- Record all business correspondence, project data, and blasting data in company CRM
- Record images and video of project staging, blasts, and test blasts for quality assurance and/or marketing purposes.
- When not in the field, assigned work will take place at Sponge-Jet Headquarters and Equipment Manufacturing Facility (Newington, NH). Assigned work could include research and development tasks, equipment assembly, and inspection/preparation of rental equipment.
Education - Experience:
- Work experience in industrial settings
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Know the basic principles in air pressure and pneumatics
• Have good training and communication skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to work both independently and in teams

• Able to troubleshoot with limited resources; be resourceful
Pay:
- $20 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience,
