What you’ll do as a Manager, Engineering:

The Manager, Engineering will lead a team of engineers and technical staff in supporting IP Corporation’s plant operations, product development, and process improvement initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities to oversee engineering projects, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive innovation to meet business objectives.

What you can expect to do as a Manager, Engineering:

• Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals.
  • Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage workloads, set priorities, and ensure on-time project delivery.
• Project & Process Management
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects across multiple facilities.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
• Technical Expertise
  • Provide engineering guidance and technical support to manufacturing teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend new equipment, systems, and technologies to enhance production capabilities.
  • Partner with R&D, operations, and supply chain teams to align engineering solutions with corporate goals.
• Strategic Planning & Innovation
  • Contribute to long-term capital project planning and budgeting.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process controls, and system enhancements.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives and innovative approaches to engineering challenges.

What we are looking for in a Manager, Engineering:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline required).
• 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 3+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Proven track record of leading teams, managing projects, and implementing process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of process controls, reliability engineering, and capital project management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and organizational levels.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or composites industry preferred.

Pay Transparency Range:

$165,183.00 - $198,467.00
