JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you will be expected to do the following:

  • Analyze real world data pertaining to Missile Defense and Space Domain Awareness
  • As part of an Agile Scrum team, develop and complete features and stories mapped to program objectives

Depending on the specific skills of the successful applicant, duties will include one or more of the following: 

  • Collect and interpret real world data
  • Develop new algorithms to effectively utilize the data
  • Actively update current algorithms based on new data

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Strong analysis background, encompassing a broad range of disciplines that enable effective filtering of data to predict future states of ballistic missile threats.
  • Experience in performance analysis and characterization of large-scale complex system simulations, focusing on ballistic missile threats, weapon systems, and command and control architectures.
  • Possess a working or theoretical knowledge of ballistic or non-ballistic missile defense concepts, defense communication systems, and the Missile Defense System (MDS).
  • Specific knowledge of one or more MDS elements
  • A strong foundation in math and physics is required, as well as experience using tools such as MATLAB to support analysis of complex data.
  • Familiarity with operating systems like Unix/Linux, and experience with Agile Scrum and continuous integration methodologies.
  • Experience with scenario generation is also a plus, demonstrating the ability to create realistic and relevant scenarios to support analysis and testing of missile defense systems.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • The candidate should possess data analytics skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and filter large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform predictions of future ballistic missile threat states. 
  • A knowledge of system engineering principles and practices is also required, including system design, development, testing, and evaluation, as applied to ballistic missile systems and associated command and control systems.
  • Experience in analyzing and characterizing ballistic missile threats, including threat systems, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and the ability to predict future threat states based on trends and patterns.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical disciplines that underpin ballistic missile threat analysis and prediction, including the ability to integrate and analyze data from diverse sources to inform predictive models and simulations.

EDUCATION: Advanced degree and 7+ years experience or Bachelor's with 9+ years experience or equivalent

LOCATION: Full Time/ On-Site in Colorado Springs, CO

CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT: Top Secret 

DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: None

SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $122,000

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
