Job Title: Transaction Manager 

Reports to: Vice President of Development

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Summary:

Tareen Development Partners (TDP) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Transaction Manager to support and enhance the development team with new developments and acquisitions. 

The Transaction Manager will support the execution of our development plans through the closing and stabilization of each transaction. The Transaction Manager will support a lean team and be involved in all aspects of the transaction process including, but not limited to site control, financing, legal documentation, construction and asset management. This role will require collaboration both internally and with third-party partners. The person in this role would be critical in ensuring the execution of closing and stabilizing new developments and acquisitions in an efficient and timely matter.

Requirements

  

· Track development approval timelines & coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure all due diligence is complete and received in a timely manner. Work with financing partners and all consultants through site control until closing, while maintaining development schedules. 

· Coordinate financing checklists and keep internal reporting systems up to date

· Coordinate subsidized financing applications, including LIHTC (4% and 9%), Tax-Exempt Bonds, Tax Increment Financing, RAD, HOME Funds, CDBG Funds, AHP Funds, and other funding sources as needed. 

· Coordinate construction, refinancing and permanent loan conversions with HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Life Insurance Companies, Banks and other institutions

· Prepare and assist with submitting funding draws and equity installment applications

· Ensure assumptions and precise documentation of any zoning, LIHTC application commitments, and financing applications

· Support the development team members with contract/proposal reviews, accounts payable coordination, and coordination with other third-party partners (i.e., architects, property management, insurance providers, general contractors, etc.)

· Work with vendors and utility providers to ensure the building is served by utilities and has appropriate contracts in place (i.e. will-serve letters, elevator, landscaping, etc.)

· Assist with logistics associated with closing real estate transactions

· Assist with procurement of FFE (Furniture Fixtures and Equipment) for developments and acquisitions

· Assist CFO and in-house counsel with insurance risk management, ensuring following standards and procedures, obtaining quotes and helping with any claims for builder’s risk and property insurance 

· Perform other duties as reasonably assigned


Required Skills/Abilities: 

· Strong knowledge of real estate contracts, disclosures, and compliance requirements.

· Proficiency in transaction management software.

· Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.

· Strong communication skills.

· High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.


Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred – often in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in real estate transactions, escrow, title, or brokerage operations.


Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive base salary of $70,000–$90,000 annually, plus performance-based incentives.
