We've tested gaming systems, simulated atmospheric effects of satellite communications, designed unique parts of our nation's radar systems, and designed test systems for the most exciting electronic vehicles on the road. POSITION SUMMARY

Hiller Measurements Inventory Specialists are responsible for all production activities of the inventory and kitting area in the stockroom in order to complete a kit accurately for the proper assembly of the product.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains consistent stock of inventory.
  • Maintains physical inventory and inventory within ERP system (Epicor).
  • Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
  • Pull job kit orders from ERP System (Epicor).
  • Pull parts from kit list, complete inventory transactions, and release completed kit to production.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Capable of working in fast paced environment.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills.
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and change focus rapidly.
  • Must be able to work over-time when required and ten hour shifts every other week, alternating with a straight 8 hours the opposite week.

Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred.
  • Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident (due to company contracts falling under the ITAR).

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to handle and count small part.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility and reach items both high and low.
