The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Credentialing Specialist to join our credentialing team. In this role, you’ll help onboard healthcare providers, validate credentials, and support our internal operations teams - work that directly impacts the speed and quality of care our marketplace delivers. You’ll also make a real difference in healthcare providers’ experience, be part of a collaborative, supportive team in a growing tech company, and have plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a fast-moving environment.

This is a 3-month contract role with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.

Where you’ll work

This is a hybrid role based in our Irving, TX office. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the time while joining the team in person for collaboration, meetings, and team activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and internal teams, answering questions and resolving issues professionally.

  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, anticipating potential issues and taking action before they become problems.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for all credentialing activities.

  • Validate credentials and licenses to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Partner with Credentialing Leads to process background checks and other verification tasks.

  • Monitor and manage credentialing and operational queues as assigned.

  • Support special projects and initiatives within the credentialing team.

  • Report potential roadblocks, barriers, or other issues to leadership proactively.

  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team’s success.

What you'll need

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, data entry, or a related field.

  • 1+ years of healthcare compliance, credentialing, privileging, or quality experience is a plus.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.

  • Able to work independently and multitask effectively.
