Your Next Career Opportunity – Intern
Vendor Setup/Payment: Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Payments:
• Supports the preparation of daily reconciliation for both outsourced and in-house payments.
Vendor Maintenance:
• Assists with entering and maintaining new vendors and updating existing vendor records according to company standards.
• Helps verify ACH Authorization Forms under the guidance of the SBA ACH Policy and Procedures.
• Supports the entry and maintenance of banking information in Great Plains for EFT payments.
• Provides assistance with setting up new vendors for 1099 tax reporting based on W-9s.
• Helps with the preparation of daily Vendor Audit Reports in compliance with SOX requirements.
• May help with vendor integrations as needed.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required. AA preferred.
• Must demonstrate intermediate knowledge and ability to work with MS Word, Excel, Internet navigation and Outlook.
• Ability to organize work.
• Working knowledge of automated A/P systems including check processing.
• Great Plains experience preferred.
Language Skills:
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to communicate effectively whether orally or written.
Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area and volume.
Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
