About the Role:

The Hospice Clinical Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations of the hospice care team at our Las Vegas branch, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care to patients and their families. This position is responsible for managing and mentoring clinical staff, coordinating patient care plans, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. The Hospice Clinical Manager collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and support family members through the hospice journey. This role requires a strong commitment to ethical care practices, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement. Ultimately, the Hospice Clinical Manager ensures that all clinical services align with the mission of providing dignity, comfort, and respect to those in the final stages of life.


As a Hospice Clinical Manager, you will:

  • Direct and coordinate clinical departments; assume responsibility for continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with state and federal regulations. (Conditions of Participation).

  • Promote the philosophy and administrative policies of the Agency, in an effort to ensure quality of patient care.

  • Participate in activities relevant to professional services including development of qualifications and assignment of agency personnel.

  • Supervise and provide direction to subordinates, in an effort to ensure quality, compliance with the Plan of Care, assessment and reassessment of patients’ needs, and continuity of services by appropriate health care personnel.

  • Monitor the QAPI Program and assure appropriate corrective measures are performed.

  • Promote compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third party payors, through education, coaching, and other assistance as necessary.

  • Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG), assists in development of the IDG plan, and participates in QAPI activities.

  • Monitor systems and identify problem areas to the Administrator both verbally and through written reports.

  • Meet mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency and licensing board.

  • Promote and educate regarding the concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating and performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.

  • Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitate the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current RN License

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Valid Auto Insurance

  • CPR Certification

  • At least 2 years of Hospice management experience preferred

  • HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred
