Inventory Control Clerk – Quincy Exact Solutions – Pontiac, IL.

Compensation & Schedule:

$18.40 – $27.60 per hour | Hourly 

7a – 4p |  Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow company policies and employee handbook
  • Accurately process inbound and outbound shipments, including verifying quantities, inspecting product condition, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and support scheduled physical inventories.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) through timely and correct data entry.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inventory levels, stock adjustments, and audit findings.
  • Support shipping operations, including staging, labeling, and verifying orders before dispatch.
  • Assist with receiving, including unloading trucks, tagging product, and updating system records.
  • Partner with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth material flow and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
  • Alert management to any safety hazards, process breakdowns, or discrepancies that may impact operations.
  • Other duties as assigned consistent with maximizing accuracy and efficiency of inventory control.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 2-5 years’ warehouse/distribution operations experience
  • Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of receiving, shipping and cycle counts
  • Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50# 
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled shifts as required.
