World Help is a Christian humanitarian organization serving the physical and spiritual needs of people in impoverished communities around the world. We are searching for a devout follower of Christ whose worldview correlates with the company’s mission and values.

Position Purpose

The Gift Processing Intern serves as a support role to the operations of World Help in opening/sorting incoming mail, processing “Do Not Mail” responses, and updating donor contact information within the donor database. Together, these responsibilities allow the Gift Processing Intern to ensure that World Help is processing gifts/donations in a timely manner.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing incoming mailings by opening and sorting mail two to three times a week.
  • Record updated contact information into an Excel spreadsheet when outgoing mail is returned.
  • Process prospecting “Do Not Mail” responses in a timely manner.
  • Any additional duties needed to help drive the mission, vision, and organizational values of World Help.

80% - Mail Fulfillment

  • Open mail received by World Help.

10% - Data Management

  • Update donor contact information. 

10% - “Do Not Mail” Responses

  • Process prospecting “Do Not Mail” responses.

Required Skills/Education

  • Efficient use of time management.
  • Experience conducting administrative work.

Preferred Skills/Education

  • Enrolled in a collegiate program working toward a degree in Business or a related field.
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) database experience.

Miscellaneous

  • 10-15 hours a week preferred.
  • Stipend available upon completion of internship.
  • Internship runs October through January.
