*Note: This position requires presence in our San Francisco or Seattle office location 4 days per week; Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Principal Outbound Product Manager to partner with Marketing, Sales, and GTM teams to bring Lambda’s story to the market with clarity, consistency, and impact. This role is not a substitution for product marketing - it’s designed to supercharge it by serving as the connective tissue between Product & Service PMs and our customer-facing teams.
You will own product positioning, messaging, and outbound collateral across the entire portfolio. You’ll ensure our GTM partners are enabled with the right tools, insights, and narratives to win, while also representing Lambda in the market through thought leadership, analyst relations, and community engagement.
This is a principal-level role with high visibility across the company - bridging technical depth with commercial storytelling to define how Lambda shows up in the AI infrastructure market.
What You’ll Do
Product Positioning & Messaging
Own and articulate Lambda’s overarching value proposition, key differentiators, and target personas across the product portfolio.
Translate technical features from Product & Service PMs into clear, customer benefit–oriented messaging.
Develop a consistent messaging framework that aligns with the corporate brand and acts as the single source of truth for external communications.
Content & Collateral Management
Serve as the primary owner of outbound assets, including presentations, solution briefs, datasheets, and website content.
Partner with Product & Service PMs to ensure technical accuracy, and with Marketing/Sales to deliver cohesive, end-to-end assets (e.g., multi-service solution briefs).
Act as the “product expert” for GTM teams, providing training and resources to ensure they speak confidently and accurately about Lambda.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution
Lead market-facing activities for all product launches, including launch plans, PR coordination, and GTM readiness.
Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning and identify opportunities. Synthesize insights for Product, Marketing, and leadership.
Build sales and partner enablement materials — battlecards, competitive matrices, sales scripts, reference architectures, get-started guides, and case studies.
Market Presence & Evangelism
Work with PR and Marketing to elevate Lambda’s presence at industry events, conferences, and press opportunities.
Manage analyst relations: brief industry analysts on Lambda’s strategy, coordinate engagements, and prepare supporting materials.
Act as a public-facing representative for Lambda’s products, engaging in webinars, podcasts, and community forums to build brand awareness and credibility.
You:
10–15+ years of experience in product management, outbound product management, or product marketing in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscaler environments.
Demonstrated expertise in product positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy for technical platforms or enterprise solutions.
Strong ability to translate deep technical capabilities into compelling, customer-facing narratives.
Experience leading product launches and coordinating cross-functional GTM execution.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Proven track record building relationships with analysts, press, and community stakeholders.
Comfort representing a technical product publicly — from conferences to customer conversations.
Nice to Have
Experience with AI infrastructure, GPU cloud, or developer platforms.
Background in sales enablement or direct experience supporting enterprise GTM teams.
Track record of published thought leadership in AI, cloud, or infrastructure markets.

The annual salary range for this position has been set based on market data and other factors. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
