+ Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position plays a key role in the company’s hiring by serving as a facilitator that streamlines and simplifies the hiring process for department managers. It is also instrumental in providing new employees with a smooth and seamless experience by managing the complete full-cycle onboarding process.


Responsibilities include:

  • Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance.
  • Receiving staffing needs from department managers and carrying out the necessary hiring tasks as directed.
  • Writing and managing job postings on Paylocity and other job platforms.
  • Reviewing and managing all applications and ensuring each applicant receives a response—either a rejection or an invitation to a first interview.
  • Reducing managers' workload by screening applicants first and rejecting those who don’t meet manager-defined qualifications.
  • Coordinating interview dates and times with managers
  • Developing and maintaining a strong talent pipeline for current and future openings.
  • Managing pre-employment screening processes (background checks and drug testing).
  • Initiating and managing electronic onboarding through Paylocity.
  • Coordinating start dates with new hires, department managers, and HR.
  • Managing and tracking employment authorizations.
  • Adding new employees to Paylocity, Employee Navigator, SET, CDK, and other internal systems as needed.
  • Requesting system access for new hires from appropriate IT or department contacts.
  • Ensuring new hires' workspaces (desk, computer, phone, etc.) are prepared and fully functional before their start dates, and coordinating with IT as needed.
  • Managing tablet assignments, uniform assignments, and uniform inventory.
  • Scanning, filing, and maintaining employee personnel records and documentation.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Following all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Understanding and following federal, state, and local regulations as applicable to the position.

Requirements

+ Job Requisites

  • Must be fluently bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken non-negotiable).
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job posting platforms highly preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or onboarding roles, ideally.
  • Experience using systems such as Paylocity, Employee Navigator, CDK or similar platforms. 
  • Have up-to-date knowledge about employment authorizations and employment law in Florida.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Outstanding ability to multitask and strong attention to detail.
  • Must be tech-savvy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and department managers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm for engaging and communicating with people.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Proactive in maintaining a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in addressing challenges as they arise.
