What you will do
Plan, direct, and coordinate safely the Largo Warehouse/Receiving Department and its processes. Develop, evaluate, and improve the structure of the Warehouse/Receiving Department to provide our internal customers in production areas with an efficient and accurate delivery of materials.
Responsible for managing, controlling, coordinating, and monitoring the day-to-day activities in the order fulfillment, receiving area, material handling, material storage and managing kitting process to deliver required materials to different production areas.
How will you do it
Develop, maintain, and administer warehouse/receiving policies, operations procedures, work instructions that will produce on-time delivery, optimum customer service, and effective utilization of warehouse/receiving department personnel.
Oversee all activities related to order fulfillment including picking and delivery of parts to point of use. Ensure all orders are picked, packed, shipped and updated daily.
Ensure that all stored material is organized and clearly identified.
Coordinate weekly cycle counting requirements with the Inventory Control department and Finance Department. Investigate variances in inventory that result in process and performance improvement.
Coordinate, facilitate and recommend strategies that will best use the company’s warehouse resources and processes.
Inspect received materials so that they meet our quality standards/requirements. Implement receiving inspection procedures.
Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions of materials.
Establish and maintain warehouse/receiving department metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement process improvements through analysis of performance.
Participate in the annual budgeting process.
Be able to prioritize activities, functions, decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Makes recommendations including recruitment in the selection and termination process within the warehouse/receiving department.
Train, coach and monitor the performance of the Warehouse/Receiving Associates and temporary associates. Ensure timely, fair, and equitable dealing with employee issues.
Ensure that all employees within the department are properly trained.
Communicate continuously with all employees using daily meetings as needed.
Oversee and ensure that 5S program is maintained in the work area.
Able to drive a forklift.
Review/inspect all equipment to make sure it is clean, orderly, maintained, and employees follow prescribed safety regulations.
Informs and Assists Production Supervisors, Area Managers of production areas of any discrepancies or potential issues whenever necessary.
Ensures Warehouse/Receiving functions are conducted in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Lead or participate in JCMS activities, cost savings initiatives, HPT initiatives and inventory control events.
Works closely with Materials employees to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Requirements:
University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 Years suggested minimum experience.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashion.

Excellent oral/written communication and people skills required.
Experience with perpetual inventory is required.
Computer proficiency, ERP system knowledge required.
Must be able to read and communicate in English.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $72,600-92,700 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
