Job Description
Position: Bingo Attendant
Department: Bingo
Job Summary: Performs a variety of job duties such as inventory, paper issue, cashier, floor attendant, paymaster, and caller.
Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
- Maintains paper inventory and advises management about inventory stock needs.
- Informs supervisor of any unusual inventory occurrences or variances.
- Keeps the inventory and paper issue rooms organized at all times and maintains accurate records.
- Assists in monthly inventory duties.
- Ensures that no duplicates are used during a session.
- Receives, issues, counts, and returns all paper used at sessions.
- Ensures that all papers are separated and ready for each session well in advance.
- Identifies the series of paper being used on floor.
- Counts and signs receipts for all papers issued and returned from the paper issue room.
- Sells all bingo papers as well as electronic devices and all other bingo merchandise.
- Ensures papers are inventoried and secured by an individual independent from bingo sales at the close of session sales.
- Counts and signs receipts for all papers issued and returned from the paper issue room in a timely manner.
- Sells bingo papers for special games.
- Facilitates the verification process by responding promptly to guests with winning combinations and verifying card numbers with the callers.
- Maintains accurate records of all cash payouts and paper sales.
- Informs supervisor of any unusual activity in the Bingo Hall.
- Ensures the accuracy of cash transactions either independently or with a co-worker such as bingo prize payouts, cash exchanges, and floor deposits.
- Completes all prize payouts in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provides “quickplay” information and handles sales to Bingo guests.
- Completes all paperwork and ensures all documents are properly signed.
- Ensures that all paperwork and monies are balanced and accounted for before completing shift.
- Ensures that all equipment is in good working condition and all progressive jackpots are correct before sessions start.
- Interacts with guests in a positive and friendly manner by assisting guests with game rules, promotions, and all other aspects of Bingo.
- Ensures that all guests are well advised on house rules and game procedures before session games are called.
- Calls Bingo numbers in a clear, distinct, and consistent manner.
- Promotes special game sales and correctly verifies all bingos.
- Ensures that Bingo sessions start on time and that Bingo games are kept running; ensures that the crowd remains calm in light of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of inventory ordering and control measures.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations pertaining to the position.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
- Ability to lift 45 pounds.
- Ability to work in a smoke filled, faced paced environment.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime, as needed.
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled, fast paced environment.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid gaming license.
Preferred Requirements:
- One year experience in Bingo operations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
