Qualifications/Work Experience: 

·       Minimum 3 years pediatric cardiac critical care and ECMO (ECLS) management experience preferred. 

·       Proven track record in clinical education, onboarding, and competency development for nursing staff. 

·       Strong leadership skills in program coordination, interdisciplinary collaboration, and quality improvement. 

·       Advanced knowledge of ELSO guidelines, regulatory compliance, and ECMO readiness protocols. 

·       Expertise in simulation training, skills validation, and performance coaching for high-acuity pediatric care. 

·       Excellent communication and mentorship abilities to guide nursing teams in ECMO transitions and professional development.

Education/Licensure/Certification: 

·       Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. 

·       Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. 

·       Additional coursework or advanced training in pediatric critical care, ECMO management, or clinical education preferred. 

·       Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state (must be in good standing) required. 

·       Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. 

·       Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. 

·       Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required. 

·       Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred.
