Job Description:

The Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst will provide programmatic, technical and analytical support for logistics and supply chain operations, contributing to business and digital transformation efforts. The role involves data analysis, process improvement, and support for logistics operations, focusing on supply chain optimization and sustainment strategies.

• Analyze logistics and supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support logistics transformation and integration efforts.
• Assist with the implementation of new technologies and improvement training programs for logistics and supply chain systems.
• Support analysis, research, and data calls related to logistics and supply chain modernization and sustainment strategies.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including process specifications, integration plans, and training materials.
• Provide technical support for Navy logistics and supply chain systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
• Contribute to business case analysis (BCA) and financial/budget analysis related to logistics and supply chain projects.
• Provide administrative and technical support for executive forums, modernization boards, and cross-program analysis.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be local to DC area. Required on site 4-5 days a week at Pentagon in Arlington, VA
• 5 years of combined professional work experience in logistics and supply chain analysis or related roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with logistics operations, supply chain management, and data analytics.
• Familiarity with Navy logistics operations, IT training, policy management, and supply chain management. Programmatic and/or staff experience in Navy/DoD.

Security Clearance:

Applicants may be required to have an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not be limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
