Smart Energy is one of Australia’s fastest-growing residential solar and battery retailers, now proudly part of Rinnai Australia. We’re expanding our product range into new home electrification solutions - we started with solar, but have moved into batteries, hot water and HVAC with more to come - and we’re looking for a Product Manager to drive smooth launches, sales enablement, and customer adoption of these innovative products.

As Product Manager, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, sales, marketing, and execution. You’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle - ensuring every new product enters the market with impact, scales successfully, and enhances Smart Energy’s mission of helping Australians take control of their energy future.


What You’ll Do
  • Lead the launch of new home electrification products, ensuring seamless execution from concept to customer.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to build go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor performance post-launch and adjust strategy to maximise uptake.
  • Act as the voice of the product internally - translating customer needs, market insights, and business goals into actionable outcomes.
  • Work with suppliers, R&D, and internal stakeholders to align roadmaps and ensure smooth delivery.


    • What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in product or project management, product marketing, or a related role (energy/renewables background a bonus).
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategy and detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
