Payroll Officer - The Travel Corporation
Location: Bondi Junction (Hybrid Work Environment)
Employment Type: Full-Time
At The Travel Corporation (TTC), we’re looking for a Payroll Officer, this role is central to delivering timely, accurate and compliant payroll processing for our incredible people across Australia.
Your Day-to-Day will Include:
- Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll using Micropay and ConnX
- Maintaining accurate employee records and onboarding new starters
- Managing payroll queries via email and phone with professionalism and a customer-first mindset
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, Australian taxation, superannuation, and Fair Work legislation
- Coordinating with the People & Culture team on terminations, leave liabilities, and reporting
- Supporting audits and handling administrative payroll tasks such as child support deductions and workers compensation reimbursements
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Australian payroll, with strong working knowledge of income tax and payroll legislation and an understanding of New Zealand payroll requirements is a big plus
- Proficiency in Micropay and ConnX is highly desirable
- Experience interpreting awards or enterprise agreements, especially within hospitality or transport, will set you apart
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel), high attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent time management, communication skills, and a commitment to customer service
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team
